In this workshop, Claire will introduce her decks of 50 bright and fun motifs and demonstrate how to use the cards and charts.  Everyone will get to pick their own motif to hook from any of the decks and will use the charted pattern on the reverse to make it, all the while being carefully guided through any new techniques by Claire. We will be working in the round, plus depending on your skill level, perhaps looking at how to create some more advanced stitches like cluster stitches such as Shells, Puffs and Bobbles. Claire will also be available to answer all your queries about the decks and to sign copies.

Ready to take the next step in your crochet journey?

Corner-to-Corner (C2C) crochet is a versatile technique worked diagonally to create a beautifully textured fabric. From colourful blankets and cushions to bags, scarves and striking picture designs, C2C opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

Suitable for crocheters who are already comfortable with chain stitches and UK treble crochet stitches, this friendly and supportive workshop will introduce the fundamentals of Corner-to-Corner crochet.

During the session you'll learn:

• How Corner-to-Corner crochet is constructed
• How to increase and decrease to shape your work
• How to read a simple C2C chart
• How to introduce colour changes
• How the technique can be used in larger projects

I'll also bring a selection of sample projects, including my Manrique Blanket design, to demonstrate the versatility of the technique and inspire future projects.

By the end of the workshop you'll have created your own C2C sample and gained the confidence to continue exploring the technique at home.
